A Healing Journey

To make contact with my innermost self
To shed light on the pain,

To reach a place of full acceptance
To explore areas words could never explain,

In the silence I hear from my spirit
It calls for restoration from The Divine,

In the shadows I patiently wait
I lose track of time,

A renewal from within
My only focus is to be,

A warm embrace from above
I’m on A Healing Journey.

I am better off healed than I was unbroken.” ~ Beth Moore

The Present Moment Speaks

Although I sit back and remain quiet
I’m all you have despite my silence,

You hurry and skip by me, day by day
Just give me your focus, it will be OK,

Slow down, don’t try to pass me by
Many desire to return to me, but cannot and so they sigh,

I know you question what’s my purpose for speaking, what’s my intention?
I admit, I just want your attention,

Hold on to me tight — surely my presence will fade into a memory
I am The Present Moment
Please, embrace me.

Live in the actual moment. Only this moment is life.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

The Presence of Solitude

In the presence of solitude, I meet with my true, authentic self
I become one with my Creator
I want for nothing else,

I hold tightly to this presence because it’s not meant to stay
I get peace from within
I let go of all dismay,

As if a shadow was cast upon me, no distractions can befall
I recognize my abundance
Indeed, I have it all,

In the stillness and calm, I journey within
I meditate, I enter a realm where there’s no end,

Here I sit, tapped into a place of gratitude
This is me, embracing in The Presence of Solitude.

What is necessary, after all, is only this: solitude, vast inner solitude. To walk inside yourself and meet no one for hours – that is what you must be able to attain.” ~ Rainer Marie Rilke
