The Key to Enlightenment

Plato said, “I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing.”

Nowadays, everyone is an expert on life.

What does this show?

It shows that we live in a world that lacks understanding.

When we humble ourselves and acknowledge that we don’t know, that is when we will be enlightened.

Let all things return to balance.

To know, is to know nothing. That is the meaning of true knowledge.” ~ Socrates

Learn from Nature

Look at the trees. They’re barren. They’re empty. They look dead.

However, these trees are not dead. They’re full of life.

What you see is the season they’re currently in.

They’re in a season of barrenness.

They’re in season of emptiness.

They’re not trying to rush through their current season either.

They’re still and at peace.

Because they know it won’t always be this way.

They know they have a greater purpose to fulfill.

They know they will again flourish.

So like these trees, despite your current season of barrenness and emptiness, you too have life within you.

You have a greater purpose to fulfill.

There’s still hope for a brighter future and in due season, you too will flourish.

Be still.

Be at peace.

Learn from nature.

Let all things return to balance.

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” ~ Lao Tzu

A Therapeutic Flow

This is a therapeutic flow
It’s an embrace for my soul
I come here to remind myself that it’s okay to let go,

A place of humility
A place of tranquility,

Here, there’s no resistance
Only persistence,

I come here to be one with the rhythm of consistence
There’s no need of any of assistance,

A natural progression — mirroring how life should be
I come here to reflect — to see more clearly,

Whatever is not needed must surely go
I’m engulfed by this force
Indeed, this is a therapeutic flow.

Those who flow as life flows know they need no other force.” ~ Lao Tzu
